How to obtain registration with the FDA as a foreign company?

It is important to have an agent in the United States that represents your company in the United States.

This agent can be a private company or an individual who lives in the United States so that they are outside the Law of that country. The authorized agent acts as an intermediary between the FDA and the foreign company.

It is highly recommended that the agent have experience because they will be in charge of communicating directly with the FDA.

It is necessary that the maquiladora or factory where the product is produced is registered with the FDA, most products as such do not need a registration to be marketed but before entering the United States a "Prior Notice" must be sent. where you specify the product you are importing into the USA. After sending it, the FDA will approve it and now you can freely enter the country.
